The Vintage Life on Mars

Just wanted to re introduce myself to new followers that have recently joined my page, with heartfelt thanks and appreciation. I am Mars, born in Jamaica, residing in the countryside of East Sussex in the UK for almost 3 decades , I have raised two wonderful children that I’m so proud of.
I’ve been a natural creative my whole life I was literally brought up in my mum’s sewing room. From  painting, to sewing, sculptures and cooking. I’m a blog writer for fashion magazines, a print model, a stylist, a voice over for radio, a certified florist, studied art, nursing and English literature. My passion for the past is boundless from architecture , textile and art to postmodern history. .
Vegan and gluten free (IBS suffer) health conscious, runner, protector and Lover of nature, all plants, animals and birds. An avid gardener, reader of books, lover of opera, music and period films,  traveling and a friend to all people. All these things, on any given day, in no particular order, often all at once, lol. .
Might I add I am also chronically shy and childlike (not childish) Fashion has given me a platform to be more confident , my natural habitat is away from the world and tucked in the safety and comfort of nature writing poetry and listening to wildlife sing and play. Thanks again for following let’s unite and stay united to create a better world for us and our future, and strive to be a better example for the next generation. .
